Why this pillar
Knowledge nobody can reach isn't access
A text can be free in principle and still out of reach — out of print, untranslated, or priced past the reader. We maintain the works, translate them, keep them free, and print them near the people who want them. And where a student needs a pencil before they need a library, we cover that too.
